Upcoming Behaviour Training 27/03/18
Course Name: Managing Challenging Behaviour
Date: Tuesday, 27th March 2018
Location: Adam and Friends
Unit 10b 4 Stadium Business Park
All children can behave in ways that parents, teachers and caregivers can find challenging at times. For children with special needs or autism it can be extra difficult to manage for many reason such as the child’s ability to communicate or to understand what is expected from them. Medical and sensory issues can also affect behaviour. To change a child’s behaviour you need to understand what’s causing it and what they are getting out of it.
This training will go through how to help you find out what might be causing your child’s behaviour and what goes into putting together a positive behaviour support plan through interventions and practical strategies.
This training course will cover:
What do we mean by “Behaviour”?
Functions of behaviour
Developing a behaviour support plan
Positive Behaviour Support
Some practical strategies
